Fällkniven F1 Pro 10 Bushcraft Knife Review

The Fällkniven F1 Pro is the improved version of the famous Fällkniven F1, the pilot knife of the Swedish Air Force. This knife has been a very popular knife among true outdoor enthusiasts for years. Differences in the Fällkniven Pro series

The Fällkniven Pro series is the long-awaited successor to the very popular F1, A1, high-quality, and S1 series. The VG10 core of the blade has been replaced with high-quality CoS cobalt steel. This type of steel is even better in terms of maintaining sharpness and resistance to chipping. The entire blade is also slightly thicker for even greater strength. This applies not only to the visible (cutting) part of the blade, but also to the tang. The tang continues into the handle and is larger and thicker than its predecessor.

The Thermorun finger guard has been replaced with a steel finger guard. This leads to even greater strength and improves the balance of the handle. On top of that, the convex grinding of the blade has been improved for even better cutting.

The Cytel sheath also got an upgrade. It is now more durable and more compatible with the MOLLE system.

This is the 10-series version of the Fällkniven F1Pro. This means that you have a 10-year guarantee on this model. But it does not have the deluxe waterproof case with the sharpening stone. The advantage is that this model is much cheaper.
